Public Information Requests

The Public Information Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 552 External web site, governs requests for public information in Texas.

Requests for public information to the State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH) must be in writing. Your written request should reasonably identify the public information you are seeking, and it should include your mailing address, phone number, email address, or other means to contact you. A written request may be made by mail, email, fax, or in person.
