General Docket Hearings and Mediations

General Docket cases cover a wide range of subjects, including professional licensing and regulation; insurance; workers' compensation medical benefits; retirement benefits; child abuse and neglect; child support; elder care; health and medical services; transportation; land ownership; environment and natural resources; public safety; and financial and utility regulation.

The General Docket now appears in "long range" vs. "weekly" format. To accommodate this change, it is now provided in Adobe PDF file format. The document will be updated weekdays at 3:30 p.m.

Case Filings Notice

Pleadings and other documents in general docket cases can now be filed with SOAH electronically. Click the “Electronic Case Files” link at the top of this page for access. As part of this system, SOAH has new fax numbers for all general docket cases. The new numbers are:

512-322-2061 - Austin
512-322-0470 - Corpus Christi
512-322-0471 - Dallas
512-322-0472 - El Paso
512-322-0473 - Fort Worth
512-322-0474 - Houston
512-322-0475 - Lubbock
512-322-0476 - San Antonio

The new numbers should be used for all fax communications relating to any case other than the Department of Public Safety’s Administrative License Revocation (ALR) program.  The fax numbers remain unchanged for ALR filings. 

Documents containing confidential information or personal identifiers such as social security numbers or drivers’ license numbers should not be filed by fax in general docket cases.  See SOAH Procedural Rules 155.101(b) and 155.103.

Alternatively, pleadings and other documents may also be filed by:

  •     Mail to P.O. Box 13025, Austin,Texas 78711-3025; or
  •     Hand delivery to 300 West 15th Street,Room 504.

If the parties are notified that a general docket case has been assigned to a judge in a field office outside Austin, pleadings and other documents to be filed by mail or hand delivery shall be filed with the judge at the appropriate field office.
